We will start with passive income. If you remember your childhood. We used to read active voice in school. I remember when we read English what was active voice. The issue of passive income and active income comes from that concept. Active income means you are working day to day your income is getting day to day and when you are not working you are not getting income. For example, think about a normal office, think about any office. Suppose a bank what is a person doing when he works in a bank he is working every month. He is doing monthly work for the bank and for that work the bank is paying him a certain amount every month. This is our active income. Whenever he is not working or stops working for the bank  then the bank will not give him money. The bank will not give him salary. We call it active income. 

And what is passive income? Passive income is that you will do a lot of work now so that you don't have to do much much any more, just a little management and your income will keep coming. We call this passive income. Example of active income can be example to bank passive income. Suppose you have to earn a lot to build a house, you have to take a loan to to build a house. You have to manage a lot. But once you have built the house, you can earn income be renting the house and collecting the rent. In that case, the house rental becomes a passive income. Those of us who are landlords earn passive income and those who work in banks earn active income. This is the difference between active income and passive income.

The thing about affiliate marketing is that if I explain it to you with an example, it will be easy for you to understand. Suppose I have a store. I have a chicken shop and I sell chicken for 120 taka per piece. People come to my shop and buy chicken. I told two boys in my area, you go to all the houses in the neighborhood and tell them to buy chickens. Then a little quality of chicken will tell how good our chicken is. The boys asked me ok we will tell the different house but what is our benefit? Then I told them that your profit is when you sell a chicken for 120 taka, 20 taka for you and 100 taka for me. This means that I am not giving then a job. I am giving them a commission for selling chicken. They themselves will sell more products so that the more they sell, the more they will get 20 taka. It is good for them, they are not in any monthly attachment with me, they are selling when they want, they are not selling when they want. The two boys whom I have hired are from my affiliate market.
